Pizza Cook – The Hub is looking for a capable cook who is willing to help out in all areas of the restaurant when needed. This can be a full time or casual position. Your role will include day and evening shifts over a five or seven day roster, preparing food, cooking pizzas and cleaning. Although experience is beneficial it is not mandatory. If you show aptitude and a willingness to work hard and learn, you could well be on your way to a key position in the team at The Hub.
Assistant Manager or Restaurant Manager – The Hub Binalong Bay is looking for an experienced assistant manager or restaurant manager.

The Hub – Seaside, a new addition to The Hub family is a licensed restaurant offering Napoletana-inspired, unique wood-fired pizzas and is based in Binalong Bay, part of the beautiful Bay of Fires, Tasmania. We are passionate about pizza and excellent customer service. Working as part of the team at The Hub means there is a great opportunity to serve a wide range of travellers from Australia and beyond.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Supervisory experience in the hospitality industry. This does not need to be in a licensed venue.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
Tasks & responsibilities
This is a ‘hands-on’ position where you will lead the team in providing excellent product and customer service as well as maintaining our workplace culture.
You will be responsible for all aspects of running a restaurant (being trained in areas that are new to you); floor management, customer service, staff training and hiring, and stock management.
The restaurant manager will report to the owners and work with the current assistant manager.

Attractive salary ($65000-75000 pa) plus superannuation, leave loading, performance bonuses, days-in-lieu, staff meals and discounts.
The Hub is closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day each year to allow for family/friends time.
A rotating roster allowing one weekend and one Sunday off every four weeks.
